Veteran's Day Program

On November 10 at 9 a.m., we will have an assembly to honor veterans. It will be in the gym and will consist of a choir and band performance as well as a guest speaker. If you or any family member is a veteran, we invite you to attend the ceremony.

Turkey Trot Fun Run

On November 20, BB6 will host it's annual Turkey Trot fundraiser. The money raised will go towards Field Day, student incentives, and our end of year field trip. Friends and family can sponsor students for their participation, as well as businesses. This is the ONLY fundraiser we will do for the entire year. There are various incentives for those able to contribute a minimum of $40 and up. All information and forms will go home October 21.

Red Ribbon Week

October 26-30 is Red Ribbon Week. We will have a different theme each day to bring awareness to drug prevention. The schedule is:

Monday - "Blue out Bullying & we're too COOL for drugs?" Wear blue with hats and shades.
Tuesday - "SOCK it to drugs . . . we're TU-TU smart to use them!" Wear crazy socks &/or tu-tus.
Wednesday - "We're RED hot and CRAZY about being drug-free!" Wear red &/or crazy hair.
Thursday - "We're WILD about being drug-free!" Wear camo &/or animal prints.
Friday - "DOUBLE, DOUBLE, Drugs are Trouble . . . TEAM up against drugs!" Wear your favorite team attire &/or "twin" with a friend.

Attendance Incentive, September 1-30

All students present each class period every day in September will be invited to an attendance celebration in early October. A student cannot miss class for any reason (including doctor's appts.) to be eligible for this incentive. We will send out more information later in the month regarding the date and time for our first Back to School Bash!

Magnolia ISD Launches New Mobile App for Parents

Magnolia ISD is releasing a new mobile application, eSchoolPLUS Family, which will allow MISD parents to stay connected with their child’s school progress. The mobile application is used in conjunction with Home Access Center, a web based system, providing parents with detailed, real-time information about their child.
